Boys Varsity Bowling, Girls Varsity Bowling · That’s How We Roll!

Bowling, like any other sport, requires both hard work and dedication. Taking it frame by frame with time to spare, Durango’s bowling team rolled through a successful season. Coached by Durango’s very own Graphic Arts teacher, Mr. Butera, the Trailblazers were able to stay out of the gutter. Butera helped our bowling team come out on top, leading Durango to strike out on Bishop Gorman to make it to regionals last season. We could not have done it without the players doubling up on intense focus and extreme teamwork to finish a memorable season.

An anticipating crowd gathers at the Gold Coast Casino as Richard Decker, 10, rolls a strike to push the Blazers bowling team ahead.
Damian Maxilom, 10, takes his last smooth step as the bowling ball rolls towards a strike. The audience is all eyes, focusing on how the score will defeat the opponents. Damian has no pressure while in his turn, rolling with ease.
Starting the season off right, Leslie Serrano, 10, rolls the ball directly towards the king pin earning a strike for her team at Red Rock Casino this January 25, 2018. The team itself finds bowling to be a sport in which they can have fun and win a match play.
