Baseball Wins

Durango Baseball doubled up Eldorado last night as the Varsity and the Junior Varsity both won.  Varsity won 11-0.  Junior Varsity won 14-0.  The boys are back in action Thursday as Varsity host Green Valley and Junior Varsity travel to play the Gators.

Golf Competes

Varsity Golf competed in its first match of the season.  While the Blazers didn’t score as a team, they had good outings by Connor Redmerski and Reese Vertrees.  Vertrees shot a 90 and Redmerski shot a 98 on a challenging TPC course.

Softball Wins

Varsity Softball defeated Pahrump Valley last night by a score of 4-3.  Kaitlyn O’Hearn and Stephanie Huff lead the way with Brooke Behnen, Mallory Lawson and Mykayla Cutone adding to the victory.

Track Qualifies in 13 Events

Track traveled to the Faith Lutheran Invitational this weekend. Top finishers for the Blazers were Felmon Mesgon for the Boys with a 3rd place finish in the 1600 meters.  On the Girls side, the 4 x 800 Relay Team took 4th.  While as a team the girls and boys finished 14th and 15th respectively, the

Volleyball goes down in 3

Boys Volleyball traveled to Centennial High School for a non-conference match.  The night wasn’t good to Durango as all three levels dropped in straight games.  B-Team lost 21-25, 15-25.  Junior Varsity went down 26-28, 19-25.  In Varsity action, Centennial won 25-10, 25-16, 25-16. The boys are back in action next Tuesday at home verse Rancho.

Boys Volleyball drops match to Desert Oasis

The Boys Volleyball team opened home action last night against Desert Oasis in the Blazer Dome.  The Freshman Team and Junior Varsity teams were each victorious 2-1 but the Varsity team lost 3-1.  The boys are back in action later this week.

Softball Rolls In Opener

Varsity Softball opened the home campaign in stellar fashion.  The Blazers defeated Bonanza 15-3 in only 5 innings.  The JV team continued the winning with an impressive 25-0 win at Bonanza.  The Varsity Softball Team continues play this weekend as they travel to Utah to play in the St. George tournament.  Good luck Softball!

Baseball Drops Home Opener

Durango Baseball dropped their home opener to Bonanza High School last night 7-3.  In other action, the JV Baseball team traveled to Bonanza only to lose 10-0.  Both teams will be in action next week.
