O’Hearn’s walk-off double boosts young Durango softball team

BB Battles Back

After falling behind early, Blazer Baseball rallied for a 7-3 victory over league rival Legacy.  Trailing 3-1 in the bottom of the six, the Blazer bats came alive as they score 6 to take commanding lead.  Andrew Ayala and Evan Pyeatt lead the way goind 1-3 and 2-3 respectively with 3 RBI’s between them.  Collin

O’Hearn HR Leads SB

Kaitlyn O’Hearn drilled a solo homer in the third inning, it proved to be the only run needed as the Trailblazers defeated Legacy 5-0 in league action.  Trinity Valentine tossed a no-hitter and struck out 10 with only one walk. In JV action, the Trailblazers battled to a 12-12 time in a time restricted game.

VB falls to Gorman

Durango Boys’ Volleyball fell to Bishop Gorman in a hottly contested league match-up at the Blazer Dome Wednesday night.  The four game match was decided by no more than four points and both teams played exceptionally well. Varsity Track 3/24/15

Boys and Girls Varsity Track held a Tri-Meet with Bishop Gorman and Calvary Chapel at the Blazer Stadium.  The boys finished second with 66 points to Bishop Gorman’s 107 and Calvary Chapel’s 13.  The girls also finished second with 57 points to Gorman’s 78.5 and Calvary’s 26.5.  Again Durango Track took the distance portion with

At The Yard last night, Durango JV baseball fell to Palo Verde by a score of 23-0.

At Palo Verde, mental errors ended up costing the match for the Blazers, but overall the guys adjusted and played well. Jaylen Clark led Durango with 11 kills, 13 digs and two blocks.
